Flinders Island is the largest Island in Bass Strait’s Furneax Group of Islands above north eastern Tasmania. Millions of years ago the 74 Islands of the Furneaux group formed the land bridge connecting Tasmania to the Mainland and now boas pristine beaches, beautiful country side and exceptional fishing a diving locations.
Flight Path
The 1 hour 20 minute flight from Moorabbin to Flinders Island takes us east to follow the coast over Inverloch, Wonthaggi before turning south east over the beautiful Wilsons Promontory National Park.
On the approach to Flinders Is we descend to a lower altitude to provide an aerial visual of the island ascending from the crystal blue waters of Bass Straight.
