We know Tasmania and we know golf.  Creator and chauffeur Robyn McCarthy is a Tasmanian born businesswoman with a passion for golf.  Son Ryan, in 2008 and 2009 won the Tasmanian Amateur Championship and Tasmanian Open Championship respectively and in 2009 and 2010 is a member of the Australian Amateur National Squad.

The North West Coast of Tasmania has many picturesque 9 and 18 hole courses.   Ulverstone and Devonport Golf Clubs are both championship 18 hole courses with well-designed greens and tree-lined fairways.  Ulverstone is regularly included in Australia's top one hundred list. Seabrook Golf Club is a typical links with water hazards that will test you.  Tree-lined fairways and sand bunkers will guarantee a challenging game of golf.
In the north of the state we have the magnificent Barnbougle Dunes Golf Links at Bridport, widely acclaimed as one of the nation's finest golf courses.  In the Central Highlands we have Australia's first golf course at Ratho, Bothwell.  It is still in use today, you can step back in time, wear the traditional plus fours and play a round with hickory golf clubs.  Bothwell is home to the Australasian Golf Museum, with the largest display of historic golfing memorabilia.  In the south of the state there are many spectacular courses with clifftop holes and wide ocean views.
